Affiliate Disclosure
We believe you have the right to know exactly how SemiPoker makes money and how that relationship affects — or doesn’t affect — what we write.
1. Who We Are
SemiPoker (semipoker.com) is an independent online poker review and guide website focused exclusively on the Malaysian market. We are not a poker site, a casino operator, or a gambling platform. We publish reviews, comparisons, strategy guides, and informational content to help Malaysian players make informed decisions about where to play online poker.
SemiPoker is owned and operated from Malaysia. Our editorial team consists of real poker players who test the sites we review with real MYR accounts before publishing any content.
2. How SemiPoker Makes Money
SemiPoker earns revenue through affiliate marketing. This means that when you click a link on our site and sign up or deposit at a recommended poker site, we may receive a commission from that operator. This is the primary way we fund our operations, research, and content production.
Types of affiliate relationships we have:
Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) — We receive a one-time payment when a referred player makes their first qualifying deposit at a partner site.
Revenue Share — We receive an ongoing percentage of net revenue generated by referred players over time.
Hybrid Deals — A combination of CPA and revenue share, offered by some operators.
We do not accept payment in exchange for positive reviews, guaranteed placements, or specific ratings. No poker site can pay to appear on our recommended list — inclusion is based solely on the outcome of our testing process.
3. Our Current Affiliate Partners
As of April 2026, SemiPoker has affiliate relationships with the following poker platforms. We have tested all of these sites and believe they are suitable recommendations for Malaysian players.
This list will be updated whenever we add or remove an affiliate partner. If a site we review does not have an affiliate relationship with us, we will note this clearly in the review.
4. How to Identify Affiliate Links
We make it straightforward to identify which links on SemiPoker are affiliate links and which are not.
5. Our Editorial Independence Commitment
Affiliate income funds our site, but it does not control our editorial decisions. We operate by the following principles without exception:
No paid placements
No poker site can pay to be ranked #1 or appear in our recommended list. Rankings are determined solely by our testing scores.
Negatives are published
If a partner site has slow withdrawals or poor support, we publish those findings — even if it costs us commission.
We test before we list
No site appears on SemiPoker without being personally tested with a real MYR account by a member of our team.
We remove underperforming sites
If a partner site’s quality declines, we remove or downgrade them regardless of the commercial relationship.
Ratings are never negotiated
Our scores are calculated from a fixed methodology. No operator can negotiate or purchase their score outside of a re-test.
We disclose every relationship
Every affiliate relationship is disclosed on this page and at the point of recommendation on every relevant page.
6. Your Cost Is Never Affected
Using our affiliate links never costs you anything extra. The commission we earn comes from the poker operator’s marketing budget — not from any fee charged to you. In many cases, signing up through an affiliate link actually benefits you, as operators often offer exclusive welcome bonuses to players referred through partner sites.
You are never obligated to use our links. You can visit any poker site directly by typing the URL yourself. We recommend using our links as a way to support the site and keep our reviews free, but there is no obligation to do so.
7. Compliance
This disclosure is published in accordance with the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines on endorsements and testimonials, which require clear disclosure of material connections between publishers and the brands they recommend.
All affiliate links carry rel=”nofollow sponsored” attributes in line with Google Webmaster Guidelines on paid and affiliate links.
8. Changes to This Disclosure
We will update this page whenever our affiliate relationships change — including when we add new partners, remove existing ones, or change the nature of any commercial arrangement. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
If you have any questions about our affiliate relationships or editorial process, please contact us at hello@semipoker.com.
